From the department of "whoa": Meg Cabot's changing publishers. While I'm pretty confident all of her YA series books at Harper will be finished, I can't help but wonder what's going to happen to both the chick-lit series she'd started last year. Does anyone know if there will be more Heather Wells or Queen of Babble books after this year?

Everyone's already linked to it, but what the heck --it's most definitely worth reading again. Brent Hartinger on young adult novels: "Today's teen lit is a fragile flame, folks. Protect it. Make it last."
