Does anyone out there know of a pale pinkish-nude lipgloss that doesn't smell/taste like fruit/soda/mint and isn't sparkly? (Glitter looks great on some people, but on me...let's just say scary and leave it at that.) I've looked everywhere (well, okay, I went to Target) and everything either "glows" or smells like apples or bubblegum or both.

Leaving aside my makeup conundrum, there's this week's contest, which once again proves I'm all about food....

What's your least favorite food, one you're forced to face on a semi-regular basis and that you just can't bring yourself to eat? (Mine is eggs. I don't mind them in cake or things like that, but just regular eggs, scrambled or fried or whatever...I can't eat them. I can hardly stand to look at them!)

You can tell me all about your least favorite food by commenting here, or by sending me an email (elizabeth at elizabethwrites dot com) Replies must be in by midnight EST on Friday, April 6th, and then I'll draw four names at random and send each of those four people a book! Though you can only reply once, you can reply no matter where you live (I will ship books overseas), or if you've won something from me in the past.

Books I'll be giving away are: My Lost and Found Life by Melodie Bowsher, Fresh Off The Boat by Melissa de la Cruz, Just Listen by Sarah Dessen, and True Confessions of a Hollywood Starlet by Lola Douglas.

And congrats to last week's winners...which was everyone who commented on last week's entry by the deadline!

Burt's Bees (www.burtsbees.com) has wonderful tinted or clear glasses & lipsticks. It's all natural, tingly, and getting fairly easy to find. I actually bought some at the local B&N bookstore. Plus, they're an eco-friendly company.

I like Clinique's Almost Lipstick in Almost Blush. A bit more money than drugstore stuff, but really great in that it doesn't dry out your lips, and it has the added advantage of an SPF of 15.

I hate spinach. Sometimes my mom puts it in stir-frys or salads. Yuuck. :D
