On Saturday, I took a little break from my revisions and went to one of my favorite bookstores--and guess what they had on the shelf?
That's right! Bloom!! I haven't seen it anywhere else, but it was on the shelves at the Borders off Route 50/29 in Fairfax and--well, I had to document the moment! (Actually, as I don't have a camera phone, or anything like that, someone else documented it for me, and was kind enough to then email me the picture)
Okay, now that I've shared that, on to this week's contest, which is all about your worst class ever. (EVER!)
The class I hated more than any other--and that I still remember to this day for its extreme awfulness--was a math class I took as a junior in high school. It was called "Math Analysis" (I don't get the title either) and I spent the entire year with *no* idea what the teacher was talking about. Also, because my parents were so sure I needed to take it instead of typing (which, yes, was actually a class in my high school!), I ended up not learning how to type until I went to college. And let me tell you, learning how to type by having to write papers...not. fun.
So! Tell me all about the class that drove you crazy by commenting here, or by sending me an email (elizabeth at elizabethwrites dot com) Replies must be in by midnight EST on Friday, April 20th, and then I'll draw four names at random and send each of those four people a book! Though you can only reply once, you can reply no matter where you live (I will ship books overseas), or if you've won something from me in the past.
Books I'll be giving away are: When It Happens by Susane Colasnti, Just Listen by Sarah Dessen, Guitar Highway Rose by Brigid Lowry, and Faking 19 by Alyson Noel.
And congrats to last week's winners: Michelle, Katie, Susie, and Sarah!
PS Don't forget the Mega May contest will be starting soon! And if you haven't checked out the first chapter of Bloom yet, you can read it here.
