Wow, have you all got great taste in movies! I've gotten some great suggestions here and over at myspace, and I've started making a list of what to watch when I get some free time.

I've been really quiet this week, but that's because I've been out of town working on revisions for Stealing Heaven (which will be out next summer) and doing research for another project, and my days were divided between both *plus* the place where I was staying had dial-up internet access only. That's right, dial-up! I tried to check my mail a few times, but it took about five minutes just to get my messages to load and then clicking on one to read it--let's just say I could have (and did) read several pages of a book in the time it would take for the message to show up on screen. I never would have been able to answer the few emails I did (and take care of a couple of things over at myspace) without my husband, who was nice enough to log on from our nice, fast connection and help me out.

When I was doing research, I ended up meeting a bunch of people for coffee at Starbucks, and when I was there, I listened to everyone ordering lattes and etc. and ended up thinking about the only person I've ever known who ordered plain coffee at Starbucks, and how she encouraged me when I was writing Bloom, and how grateful I am to her. I don't know if she'll read this, but if she does--thank you.

And now I must get back to my revisions!
