confession: I missed the point of Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle

Tuesday, October 09, 2007

I'm in the middle of trying to organize some paperwork, and so far it's resulted in--as you can probably guess--lots of piles of paper spread out everywhere. It's too bad there isn't a program out there that comes with some sort of paper-reading scanner that would scan and automatically sort everything for you. (If there is such a thing, tell me!)

Anyway, to motivate myself, I am allowed to read one part of Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle for every file I organize and it's working like a charm because I can't wait to get to my favorite part, "The Radish Cure."

True story: When I was little, I wanted to be Patsy, because she ended up having radishes growing out of her arms. And on her FOREHEAD! I thought that was the neatest thing and secretly wished it would happen to me. I know the point of the story is that baths are good things, but what can I say? I came away thinking having vegetables growing out of you would be awesome.

Hey hey, got the book you sent in the mail yesterday: A Company of Swans.

Thankyou so so much ... haven't started to read it yet since I have a few assignments due this week, but I read A Countess Below Stairs a few weeks ago and loved it, so am looking forward to reading Swans.

As for Mrs Piggle-Wiggle - can't say I ever read that :)

The Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle books are fantastic.

Thank you so much for Feathered. It is one of the best books I've read all year. Wow. I talked about it for a good half-hour with a co-worker yesterday.

I am beyond excited to hear that you have a forthcoming book entitled living dead girl. I have a piece with the same title. (It was never published, but that's a different story.)
