Back from NYC and boy, do I have books

Wednesday, June 01, 2011

BEA week is always so much fun, and I am so glad that I got to meet so many of YOU while I was in NYC.

So in celebration of BEA, and of your general awesomeness I am giving away the following:

A signed copy of Lauren Kate's Passion
A copy of Sarah Dessen's What Happened to Goodbye
A copy of Veronica Roth's Divergent

For a chance to win one of these three books, all you have to do is have a US mailing addy and leave a comment telling me what dream book you got during BEA---or what book you wished you could have gotten if you'd gone.

I'll take comments until midnight EST this Friday, June 3rd, and then I'll pick three winners and each of them will get one of the three books.

And that's it!

More than all of that I would have loved to meet the faces behind the pubs and the authors! No one every comes to my neck of the south.

Well, first of all I'm slightly offended that I didn't realize they were giving out copies of Lola :-p. So I suppose that would be my dream book.

But the dream book that I *did* get at BEA was really a dream Signature. I already had a copy of What Happened to Goodbye but I've been waiting to meet Sarah Dessen for years, so my shiny new *signed* copy of that book is my current obsession :-).

NYC & BEA would be this high school librarian's dream come true. What book would I have liked to have gotten. Spilt between "The Gray Wolf Throne" by Cinda Williams Chima (cannot wait to read Han's reaction when he learns Rebecca/Raisa's true identity) and "Wolfsbane" by Andrea Cremer (gotta love Ren). But "Crossed" by Ally Condie has to rank up there as well!

I was able to get a copy of Forever by Maggie Stiefvater (although not signed), which I was pretty excited for. Plus my teens are threatening to do bad things if I don't hurry up and read it, and then start passing it around to them!

There are too many that I missed out on to list...Lola, The Future of Us, Crossed...and the three that you're giving away! :)

I'm not cheesying it up when I saw I would have loved to meet you. Didn't even matter if I would have gotten books or not, but that doesn't answer the question :)

The book I would have loved to get, if they had ARCs which I'm still not sure they did, would be Forever, the final book of the Shiver series.

Thanks for the contest!
