I can't figure out how to add a picture, but here's a link to a picture I took that cracks me up. My cat, Lucy, is stretched out in front of my laptop with a paw on the touchpad. She might have been blogging. I'm not sure.

Reading Garden Purple Flowers

This one is one of my favorites. I can never choose a favorite picture. This one I took. It's a favorite of mine because it shows how in one giant flower life and death can co-habitat and look beautiful. I love how you can see the whole cycle of a flower, of life, in this photo. Birth, life, dying and death.

I also love the shadows and the color. Purple is one of my favorite colors and I love just how vibrate the purple came out in this photo, both when the flowers are in shadow and in the sunlight. It shows how happy I was when I took that photo.

The other thing I guess I love about it is that it portrays something that no longer exists and so it documents history. I took those photos when I learned that the library was expanding (yay!), but in order to do that, the Reading Garden had to be demolished.

This flower came from that garden and it was always one of my FAVORITE flowers. It always made me giggle because it resembled a bobblehead when it swung in the wind. It would bounce back and forth, but a bit more gracefully than a bobblehead. I never knew the name of this flower, but it was my favorite. I always smile and giggle when I look at it.

I just really like this picture.

Here

It reminds me of hawaii/summer/fun times. Lots of great memories that's probably why it's one of my favorite.

This is my Tuesday. She is the coolest cat ever! Adopted her from our vet's office and by then she had earned to steal ham sandwiches, drink out of water glasses and lick the salt off snack mix without you knowing (bc she doesn't eat the mix itself).

I love this photo of the Tour d'Eiffel. I took this picture when I traveled to Paris for a summer study group in July. I had the best time, and this is just one of the wonderful memories of that trip.
